Differentiating the Mediating Effect of Rumination on Working Memory in Dispositional and Personality Negative Affect Dimensions

Negative affect (NA) is associated with rumination and impaired working memory. The effects of dispositional NA and personality NA on working memory were tested, as well as the mediating and moderating roles of rumination. Rumination mediated NA and working memory impairment when NA was measured as a sub-trait of neuroticism.
