Abstract

Data collected explored relationships between fantasy proneness, anthropomorphism, and sex-robot humanization. Additionally, the influence of an experimental task for personalizing sex-robots, on sex-robot humanization evaluations, was measured. Fantasy proneness and anthropomorphism correlated with higher sex-robot humanization scores, and participants in the experimental condition reported marginally higher sex-robot humanization than controls.
