Younger Age and Knowing Individuals with Depression Are Associated with Less Depression Stigma

Abstract
The current study showed that younger age and knowing someone with depression were associated with less depression stigma. Gender and belief that oneself had depression were not significant predictors. These results have implications regarding how social relations might mitigate mental health stigma.
