Abstract

This study investigated the antecedents of volunteering during the COVID-19 pandemic. Findings indicate that volunteers had higher levels of social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) skills compared to those who did not volunteer. The importance of understanding SEB skills as they relate to civic engagement in young adults is highlighted.
