The Impact of Meaning in Life on the Relationship between in-Depth Exploration and Negative Repetitive Thoughts

This study examined whether meaning in life mediated the relationship between exploration of one's own identity and negative repetitive thoughts (i.e., rumination) in veterans. The significant indirect effect of this mechanism could be an important treatment target among military personnel who may be especially vulnerable for ruminative thoughts.
