Abstract

The present study evaluated whether strategy-situation-fit for daily stressors would predict daily changes in depressed mood over a seven-day daily diary study. The results of multi-level modeling suggest that the match between emotion-focused coping and stressor controllability can be a powerful predictor of daily experiences of depressed mood.
