Enhanced Internal Representations of Pattern Conforming Information after Low Consistency Events

Using a modified predictor-target paradigm, this study examined whether high-, moderate-, and low- consistency events triggered different internal representations of pattern conforming, pattern violating, and neutral information. Results demonstrated enhanced representations of the information conforming to the predictor-target associative pattern after low-, rather than high- and moderate- consistency events.
