A Mother's Affirmative Response Behavior Enhances Their Children's Sensitivity to Reward: An Examination Using Reinforcement Learning Models

This study examined the relationship between children's reward and punishment sensitivity, estimated using reinforcement learning models, and parenting behaviors of their mother and father. Path analysis revealed a positive relationship between a mother’s affirmative response behavior and her child’s sensitivity to rewards.
