Abstract

Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders are associated with attenuated cognitive processing in the face of countermanding emotional stimuli. However, the relative impact of cognitive versus emotional inputs on belief formation has yet to be quantified. In this discrete choice conjoint experiment, the impact of emotional versus cognitive information on belief judgments was investigated.
