Abstract
We evaluated associations between self-compassion, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, and life satisfaction in trauma-exposed homeless women (N=25). Results demonstrated a negative correlation between self-compassion and PTSD symptoms, and a positive correlation between self-compassion and life satisfaction. Elements of self-compassion training may help address PTSD in trauma-exposed homeless women.
