Abstract
Undergraduates (N = 316) completed 14 days of experience-sampling. Multilevel models in MPlus showed that Emotion Intensity negatively predicted Emotion Regulation (ER) Success. Additionally, Habitual ER use predicted ER Success for two ER strategies. Greater habitual Reappraisal predicted greater ER Success, and greater habitual Rumination predicted lower ER success.
