A Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Attachment to Material Objects Scale (ATMOS)

Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to confirm the dimensionality of the Attachment to Material Objects Scale. Three hundred and fifteen adult respondents completed the instrument. Using maximum likelihood estimation procedures, a bi-factor model fit the data well. Bi-factor reliability, as estimated with omega and omega hierarchical, was good.
