Abstract

Evaluation of life may not always correspond with actual experience. This study compares undergraduates’ daily diary reports of well-being with a retrospectively-measured, general evaluation of their well-being. Results revealed a change in opposite direction, with their diary-assessed well-being decreasing but retrospectively-measured well-being increasing as the school term progressed.
