Abstract
This study examined whether young adults’ character strengths mediated the relationship between responsive parenting and subjective well-being. Mediation analysis showed that character strengths explained the relationship between parental responsiveness and their children’s subjective well-being. Results highlight the importance of responsive parenting in shaping young adults’ character strengths and subjective well-being.
