Abstract

Problematic smartphone use is related to anxiety and impulsiveness. Results from 89 participants support that general anxiety and impulsivity are positively correlated with nomophobia, FOMO, and problematic phone usage and with each other. More work is needed to determine if these are the cause or result of problematic phone use.
