Abstract
This study examined whether individual differences in neural reactivity during uncertain threat predicted affective functioning during the COVID-19 pandemic using a longitudinal design. Exaggerated anterior insula reactivity during uncertain threat was associated with increased COVID-related anxiety and stress 1-year later, above and beyond baseline psychopathology and self-reported intolerance of uncertainty.
