Abstract

This research revised the single-stimulus Likert-style Narcissistic Personality Inventory (NPI; Raskin & Terry, 1988) through developing a replicable bi-factor structure, examining measurement invariance across adults (N=317) and adolescents (N=269 +142 informants), and comparing nomological networks. Results supported the 20-item multidimensional NPI-r as an efficient substitute for the original NPI.
