Abstract
This online study (N = 207) found that in the COVID-19 era, individuals respond more slowly to opportunities for physical, compared to virtual, interactions, beyond individual differences in sociability. Furthermore, sociability predicted the likelihood to engage in virtual interactions, but was superseded by fear of COVID-19 in physical interactions.
