A Registered Report on Registered Reports: Investigating Potential Benefits of and Barriers to Adopting Registered Reports

Authors of registered reports and traditional peer-reviewed articles will be surveyed about their papers and research practices. The research goal will be to compare the processes of publishing registered reports versus traditional papers, and how authors’ research practices differ across methods of publication controlling for publication date and journal prestige.
