Co-Actors Integrate the Costs of Different Types of Actions in Joint Action Planning

Abstract
In joint actions, people tend to select action plans that maximize the group’s expected utility. We tested whether co-actors also minimize the joint costs of action sequences composed of multiple types of action. We found that people who minimize their costs in individual settings also minimize composite joint action costs.
