Abstract
In this longitudinal study of adolescents assessed before and at two time points during the COVID-19 pandemic, exposure to more pandemic-related stressors predicted increases in internalizing and externalizing psychopathology. High vagal tone assessed before the pandemic protected against the development of internalizing psychopathology following exposure to pandemic-related stressors.
