Abstract

This study examined the correlation between caregiver involvement in adolescent’s social media and adolescent’s decisions to use alcohol and marijuana. Undergraduate students were asked retrospectively about their caregivers’ involvement in their social media. Caregiver monitoring was weakly related to drug use, but social media drug exposure was moderately related.
