Abstract
Past work has demonstrated that conservatives may be more likely to endorse nuclear retaliation. Our study examines the impact of political framing on nuclear decisions. 362 undergraduate participants were presented scenarios wherein Democrats, Republicans or nonpartisans proposed nuclear retaliation. Contrary to predictions, partisan framing had no effect on nuclear endorsement.
