Abstract
This longitudinal study demonstrated that food insecurity may impact subdomains of higher cognitive functioning related to academic performance but not individual cognitive skills. Measures of higher cognitive functioning remained relatively stable over time and sleep behaviors did not moderate the relationship between food insecurity and later higher cognitive functioning.
