Abstract
Two experiments examined participants’ perceived bias in judgments of headlines in themselves and in others. Participants were biased in judging the truth of headlines, believing ideologically consistent headlines more than inconsistent headlines. Further, they judged that they were less biased than other participants, particularly those from another political party.
