Abstract

We examined links between college students’ narrative processing of their most stressful and significant pandemic experiences and their anxiety, depression, and intolerance of uncertainty. Narratives characterized by more negative emotional tone and lower agency and growth were generally associated with all outcome variables, often even after controlling for personality traits.
