Abstract
Parental cultural socialization was examined as a moderator of associations between ethnic-racial identity and school engagement among 211 Native American/American Indian adolescents. Greater pride socialization amplified the positive association between private regard and school engagement, whereas high preparation for bias weakened the positive association between public regard and school engagement.
