Abstract

The current study revealed that higher bodily shame and internalized weight bias as well as lower body satisfaction predicted smaller portion sizes. However, while higher bodily shame and internalized weight bias predicted smaller portions for individuals with lower BMIs, higher bodily shame predicted larger portions for those with higher BMIs.
