Abstract

This web study of 179 Latinx college students found significantly increased stress during the COVID-19 pandemic that was buffered by bicultural competence and ethnic discrimination. Data from Fall 2020 revealed beneficial effects of bicultural competence and aversive effects of microaggression racism on distress, depression, anxiety, and somatic symptoms.
