"Zoom"Ing in on the Trier Social Stress Test: Is the TSST Still Stressful Online?

The Trier Social Stress Test (TSST), the “gold standard” for stress induction, relies heavily on in-person interaction making it impractical during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study examines the effectiveness of the TSST when adapted to the teleconferencing app, Zoom. Results indicated that the TSST-O was effective in significantly inducing stress.
