Abstract
Spirituality and self-compassion are positive psychological factors that are understudied among sexual minority men (SMM). Using an Afrocentric paradigm, this study investigated longitudinal associations between spirituality, self-compassion and, anxiety in a diverse sample of SMM. Our findings show that spirituality and self-compassion have the potential to reduce anxiety among SMM.
