Older Adults’ Experiences of Social Support during the COVID-19 Pandemic

In-depth interviews were conducted with 21 older adults to understand the early impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their social well-being. Interviewees described experiences of both providing and receiving social support during the pandemic, and most indicated that their social needs were not fully met.
