Abstract

Reading comprehension data from Freed et al. (2017) were reanalyzed using latent variable modeling and psychometric network modeling. The analysis revealed problems with the measurement model reported by Freed et al. The network models corroborated the latent variable models and offered an alternative approach to modeling individual difference data.
