The Role of Executive Dysfunction and Substance Use in Intimate Partner Violent Offenders

The proposed study will examine the relationship between deficits in executive cognitive functioning and substance use in perpetrators of intimate partner violence (IPV). The present study will be the first to comprehensively examine this relationship within an IPV population, with the goal to inform more effective treatment efforts.
