Factors Influencing How an Employer Terminates an Employee

This study examined how much justification employers provide when terminating a bad employee. This variable was examined in terms of the participant’s personality and the terminated employee’s gender. Personality was not related to justification, but male participants were less likely to provide justification to female employees than male employees.
