Children’s Educational Television: Does It Stick with You Forever, or Do You Grow out of It?

Perceptions of long-term cognitive, social, and emotional impact of educational television were examined. Overall, social skills were taught most, but all skills were rated as impactful. Sesame Street was rated most impactful on all skills. Children's educational television may be more impactful in the long-term than we anticipated.
