Effect of Female Student-Victim’s Response to Male Faculty Coercive Sexual Harassment on Responses By Peer Observers

Experiment to explore victim response and peer helping behaviors. Peer observers were willing to interrupt a coercive sexual harassment (CSH) situation when a student-victim directly confronted her male faculty harasser. Peer observers offered more aid after the event to victims who appeared relatively more passive during the incident.
