Abstract
Witnessing police violence can potentially inhibit children’s tendency to trust police later in life. During an exploratory study, adult participants will recall childhood and adult police encounters and report future expectations of police violence victimization. It is predicted early negative childhood police experiences will influence future adult trust in police.
