Abstract

We examined associations between psychological distress (PD), intimate partner violence (IPV), and oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) use among women who received a counseling intervention designed to increase PrEP use and reduce IPV. At baseline, current PD was associated with physical/sexual IPV. Baseline PD did not significantly alter intervention effectiveness.
