Abstract

Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is used for treatment-resistant depression (TRD). However, some patients do not respond. A clinical marker found predicting treatment response was having >20% reduction in symptoms by treatment 10. Early somatic symptom reduction correlated with achieving remission levels thus providing more accurate judgements of treatment response.
