The metamemory skills of psychology majors predict the accuracy and quality of their mental representations (situation models) of their psychology major. The metamemory subscales of Satisfaction, Ability, and Strategy predicted the quality of the students’ situation models with Satisfaction and Ability accounting for the most variance.
