Abstract

This study investigates the effects of COVID-19 on temporal discounting. Participants are randomly assigned to read either a COVID-19 related or neutral news article, prior to a temporal discounting task. We hypothesize higher levels of discounting in participants in the COVID-19 news condition compared to those in the neural condition.
