Abstract

This study intends to examine the role of distress tolerance on the relationship between psychological maltreatment and problematic gaming engagement. Specifically, is psychological maltreatment occurring in childhood linked to problematic gaming engagement in adulthood via distress tolerance? And is distress tolerance linked to gaming behaviors (adaptive & problematic) in adulthood?
