Abstract
Literature suggests suicidal ideation (SI) rates are alarmingly high among autistic youth. We examined predictors of parent-reported SI in a clinical sample of autistic youth. Results are commensurate with current literature that indicates concerningly high rates of SI among autistic youth. Depressive symptoms predicted SI, even when considering ASD symptoms.
