Situation Model Updating Process during Narrative Production: Effect of Time Shifts.

To confirm the situation model updating process in narrative production, we examined whether time shifts affect the thinking duration to formulate the next sentence based on the presented sentence. Participants took a longer thinking duration to produce the next sentence following the phrase “an hour later” than “a moment later.”
