Abstract
One of the primary symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is dyspnea. The association between depression and dyspnea necessitates further research. COPD patients completed the PROMIS 4-item depression measure and measure of dyspnea severity. Participants with more severe depression reported more severe dyspnea while controlling for clinically relevant covariates.
