Abstract
The current investigation examines the effect of a simulated grunt (white noise) when discriminating the direction of a tennis shot or kick by a tennis player or mixed martial artist, respectively. Critically, the participants will consist of experts in both domains to assess the simulated grunt's effect on shot perception.
