Self-Actualization and the Integration of Psychedelic Experience: The Mediating Role of Perceived Benefits to Narrative Self-Functioning

The present study investigates the link between psychedelic integration and eudaimonic well-being via perceived benefits to narrative self-functioning. Results from psychedelic users show integration was the strongest predictor of these benefits, which partially mediated the relationship between integration and self-actualization. No significant differences were found between clinical and non-clinical participants.
