Abstract
White (vs. Black) and more conservative participants were less interested in a job when the job ad requested a diversity versus traditional values statement. More conservative participants also perceived less fit at the diversity organization. Job ads indicating that an organization values diversity may deter conservative job applicants from applying.
Workplace Diversity
