Determining How Impression Management Influences Selection in Individualized Assessments

We assessed impression management among police and firefighters in individual assessments. Results showed individuals managing their impression were more likely to be recommended for a job and scored higher on the dimensions of interpersonal skills and work attitude and adaptability in comparison to non-impression managers.
